Tonight, we continue on in Part 2 of our Bible Study topic “Names of God”. Our anchor text still is Psalm 23.
Bible Scholars believed Psalm 23 was written by King David in his later years. This was a Psalm of him reflecting on his journey with God, from being a shepherd boy, serving King Saul in the palace, running for his life in the wilderness to being anointed as a King and fighting many battles as King. David’s conclusion is that God was his Shepherd. His description of God as he reflects over his life from childhood to adulthood is encapsulated in Psalm 23.
Last week we studied three names of God revealed in the writings of David in Psalm 23, which are Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Shalom and Jehovah Rapha. Today, we will dive into four more names of God revealed in Psalm 23. All seven of these covenant promises are included in the description of the Shepherd.
Please, join us as Pastor Bimbola Lawore continues on in this evening’s bible study on Names of God.
