Join us tonight for bible study, our title for this evening is “Receiving and Growing Spiritual Gifts”. Our anchor text will be 1 Corinthians 12:1-11.

Often times people want to receive spiritual gifts but are unsure of the steps on how to get them. Additionally gifts are not something that are everlasting. We must nourish and grow them in order to maintain and elevate. In tonight’s session we will learn the following.

How to receive the gifts of the spirit:

• Being born again
• Studying the word of God
• Living a consecrated life
• Having a strong desire for the gifts
• Through the laying of hands
• Being amongst like minded people
• Assisting a man or woman of God

Tonight as we discuss receiving and growing the gifts of the spirit, we should lean on the various bible verses we will review to educate us on how we can maintain these gifts. We should use these tactical examples to draw closer to God and improve our walk with him.
