Awana Club is an extension of the Children's ministry, also known as Potter's House. It disciples children through structured weekly Bible study. Awana stands for "Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed" from 2 Timothy 2:15. It is an interdenominational Bible club for children from preschool age 3 through 6th grade. Awana follows the 3B ministry philosophy of child discipleship: Belong, Believe, and Become. The ministry reaches and disciples children and youth for Jesus Christ, instills a lifelong love for Jesus, and builds a foundation in God's word through scripture understanding and memorization.
The Beautification ministry decorates and beautifies the church, creating an ambience that glorifies God. It provides event-focused and seasonal decorations for memorable programs throughout the year, showcasing beauty and excellence while bringing glory to God.
The Caregiving Ministry shows God's love by caring for church members during important times in their lives. The ministry prays, encourages, visits, and provides support to expectant mothers (Pregnancy Care), sick members (Sick Visitation), and families experiencing the loss of a loved one (Bereavement Care).
The Children's Ministry, also known as Potter's House, exists to partner with families in nurturing all children, including children with special needs, spiritually, emotionally, and socially by providing a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn about God, build relationships, and develop a strong biblical foundation. Potter's House serves children through structured classroom experiences, worship opportunities, interactive Bible lessons, prayer, creative activities, and community-building events designed for each developmental stage. Every year, the ministry organizes the Night of Worship (NOW), a worship program for the public.
The Christian Education Ministry is responsible for promoting, organizing, and teaching the church's orientation and spiritual maturity classes, including the Membership Orientation Class (A101), the Ministry Orientation Class (A201), and the Spiritual Maturity Class (A301). The ministry also facilitates the Water Baptism Class and hosts the Teach the Teachers Seminar.
The Church Office Ministry serves as the front line of church operations, helping support the daily functions of the church with excellence and efficiency. The ministry provides administrative and operational support to Agape House of Worship leadership and ministries through communication, coordination, organization, and event support. The Church Office Ministry also helps maintain a welcoming and organized environment for the church while supporting the church's overall mission and vision.
The Cleaning (Levite) ministry is responsible for maintaining the internal cleanliness of the church premises. This includes dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, and preparing the church for services.
The college ministry exists to support college students throughout their college journey in three main areas: - **Spiritual Growth and Accountability** through Bible studies, fellowship, and prayers - **Social and Community Support** through virtual and in-person gatherings, and one-on-one support - **Academic and Career Resources** through mentorship, internships, academic and career guidance, and job opportunities Above all, the ministry helps students align their lives with God's plan. The Creative Arts Ministry exists to reach the world for Christ through creative expression and spirit-led artistic ministry. The ministry supports and organizes productions, performances, workshops, creative meetups, and ministry events throughout the year, including Easter and Christmas productions, short dramatic pieces, and special creative presentations. Unlike ministries that focus primarily on music or technical production, the Creative Arts Ministry ministers through storytelling, artistic expression, live performance, and creative communication of biblical truth. The mission is to remain sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in every production, performance, and creative expression while sharing timely and impactful messages that minister to people from all walks of life. What began primarily as a drama ministry has evolved into a multifaceted creative ministry that uses various forms of art to communicate the Gospel, inspire transformation, and point people to Jesus Christ. The ministry includes acting and drama; dance and choreography; fashion and costume design; film and video production; instrumental music; lighting and sound production; media and content creation; photography and videography; singing and vocal performance; spoken word and poetry; stage design and set construction; visual arts (drawing, painting, illustration, and graphic design); and writing and storytelling.
Vessels of Praise is the dance ministry of Agape House of Worship for those who desire to worship God and minister through dance. The ministry scripture is 2 Timothy 2:21: "Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work." The ministry does not dance to dance but to be used as vessels and instruments available, honorable, set apart as holy, useful, and ready to be used by God.
The Finance Ministry is responsible for administering, accounting for, and reporting on the church's finances in accordance with sound financial management and accounting principles. The mission is to faithfully steward, manage, and transparently report the financial resources entrusted to Agape House of Worship (AHOW) by its members. The ministry adopts best practices to ensure proper internal controls and effective oversight and compliance in safeguarding the church's financial assets (Matthew 25:19–23; 1 Corinthians 16:1–2).
The Gift Shop ministry connects members and guests of Agape House of Worship with Christian resources to enhance their walk with God and to be inspired to be and do their best for God to be glorified. The ministry is responsible for managing and manning the church's Gift Shop. The Gift Shop, located at the church's main campus, offers Christian books and Christian-themed clothing and gifts, including the church's branded apparel and gifts, for sale. Regular hours are 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Sundays. The Gift Shop also opens occasionally outside of those regular hours in connection with some of the church's special events.
The Health and Wellness ministry empowers the community to take full charge of their health and well-being by providing resources and information for better lifestyle choices. The ministry presents "Health Tip Sunday" once a month, hosts an annual health fair called "Healthcare Sunday" on the second Sunday in November, and keeps a healthcare professional on call every Sunday and during Fresh Outpouring services for medical emergencies.
Hebrews Café provides coffee, tea, pastries, and snacks in a welcoming environment that helps set the tone for worship and fellowship. The café is one of the first points of contact in the church lobby, created to serve the church community with excellence, warmth, and hospitality. The ministry exists to create a space of connection, serving both the church family and first-time guests with kindness and care. The motto is faith, fuel, and fellowship. Workers prepare the café for operation before service, set up and arrange pastries, ensure stations are stocked, maintain the café during operation, and clean, restock, and reset after service. Members may also assist with picking up bakery items before café services begin.
The Information Booth ministry serves as a one-stop information hub for members and guests of AHOWFC, providing information about the church's resources, programs, and related needs.
The Lighting Ministry is responsible for bringing the main stage to life through intentional, dynamic lighting design that enhances every aspect of the Agape House of Worship experience. While the ministry is closely connected to the Sound and Presentation ministries, its focus is distinct.
The Marriage ministry exists to build a community where marriages flourish, marital relationships are nurtured, and families are united under Godly principles. It strengthens and promotes the well-being of marriages in AHOW by counseling couples, mentoring engaged couples, organizing premarital classes, hosting marriage conferences, and supporting other marriage-promoting events. The ministry runs three important programs: Marriage Success Class, Annual Marriage Conference, and Marriage Mentorship Program. It serves as the bridge between the church's married community and pastoral team.
The Missions and World Outreach Ministry exists to support, send, pray for, and partner with missionaries and mission organizations around the world so that the Good News of Jesus Christ can reach every nation. The ministry believes the Great Commission is the responsibility of the entire Body of Christ and not just a select few. Through prayer, financial support, missionary partnerships, and short-term mission trips, the ministry actively participates in God's redemptive plan for all peoples and nations. It mobilizes members of Agape House of Worship to engage in global outreach through giving, going, praying, and serving. Since the inaugural mission trip to Puerto Rico in 2018, the ministry has continued to expand its impact through strategic partnerships in Africa, Asia, and beyond.

The Personal Assistants and Protocol (PA-Protocol) ministry serves two main functions: 1. **PA function:** Assisting the church's Lead Pastors to achieve maximum effectiveness during services, special events, and other assignments. 2. **Protocol function:** Demonstrating the church's hospitality to visiting guest ministers and supporting them as they minister.
The Parking Lot Ministry, known as the Avodah Generation, is primarily responsible for taking care of the parking needs of the church's members and guests at services and special events. Avodah is a Hebrew word that unites work, worship, and service as a single expression of devotion to God. The ministry exists to create a welcoming, safe, and orderly first impression for everyone who arrives on campus. As the church's first greeters, the team sets the tone for worship through hospitality, awareness, and service. Responsibilities include directing vehicles safely and efficiently, offering smiles and a welcoming presence, helping visitors find parking (including off-premises parking when needed), monitoring surroundings for hazards, assisting the elderly, disabled, and families with small children, and providing parking coordination for special services and events.
Run for Roselle is a church community outreach and fellowship ministry centered around organizing and hosting the annual 5K run/walk event. The ministry supports planning, registration, sponsorships, promotions, volunteer coordination, race-day operations, hospitality, and cleanup. Through the event, the ministry brings together church members and the community through health, fellowship, teamwork, and outreach. Funds raised through the Run for Roselle 5K help support community outreach initiatives such as the annual Back-to-School Backpack event, the Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, and the annual Gas Buy-Down event.
The Sound ministry delivers optimal live sound and creates an atmosphere where the congregation can experience God's presence with maximum focus. The ministry supports clear, consistent, quality sound so God's Word can effectively reach people within the sanctuary and around the world.
Sozo Ministry is a Healing and Deliverance Ministry committed to bringing the Good News and reality of salvation, healing, and deliverance to all God's people. Sozo (a Greek word for atonement) offers the opportunity for people to experience the fullness of the atoning work of Christ as described in Isaiah 53:4–5. The ministry offers unique physical, emotional healing, and deliverance ministration to individuals with the aim of exposing and removing the root of those things hindering an individual's personal connection with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Special Events Ministry primarily helps with food services for the church's conferences and other major church-wide events. The ministry supports planning, coordination, setup, and execution needed to help events run smoothly, especially as it relates to food service needs. Each ministry may call on the team based on the specific needs of their event, so requirements can vary. Examples of events include church celebrations such as the 4th of July picnic and large church conferences such as the Workers' conference.
The Special Needs Ministry, also known as the Bridge Ministry, exists to create an inclusive, supportive, and Christ-centered environment where children, teens, and families impacted by developmental, learning, behavioral, physical, or communication differences can fully participate in church life. The purpose is to ensure that every individual is seen, valued, discipled, and given the opportunity to grow spiritually while feeling safe, understood, and welcomed. The ministry provides individualized support during church services, children's ministry programming, special events, and family-centered activities. Support may include visual schedules, sensory accommodations, communication supports, structured routines, modified activities, peer support, and one-to-one or small group assistance. Workers serve alongside families to help participants engage meaningfully in worship, Bible lessons, social interaction, and ministry experiences. The Special Needs Ministry differs from the general Children's Ministry because the primary focus is not simply supervision or classroom assistance. Workers serve individuals who may require additional patience, flexibility, sensory awareness, communication strategies, behavioral support, or individualized engagement. The ministry focuses on removing barriers that may prevent individuals with diverse needs from fully participating in church life.
The True Wealth Ministry provides support to job seekers and business owners in Agape, and financial literacy for all Agapeans and the broader community, so that God's name is glorified through individual and collective increase. The mission is to empower God's people to secure employment and advance in their careers while stewarding wealth for God's glory by providing essential resources, guidance, and insights to support financially prudent living and sound business decision-making.
The Ushering ministry is a first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors entering the church. It creates a welcoming, organized, peaceful, and spiritually uplifting atmosphere during every service and church event.
